かつて幼いときに、おかあさん、おとうさんからお嬢さんへ、またお嫁入りのお供としてご両親から手渡された、あの市松人形はどこに行ってしまったのでしょう。
市松人形が私たちの周りから見えなくなって久しくなりました。
ただ、まったく無くなってしまったわけではありません。残念なことに、それは一部のマニアや業者の方々の中にのみ流通しているのが現状のようです。
かつては日本中のどこにでもあった市松人形、その中でも大切に大切に保存されてきたきれいでかわいい、そして本物の市松さんをたくさんの方に見ていただきたく「市松人形館」を設立いたしました。
着せ替え遊び人形としてかわいがられた市松さんを、どうぞゆっくりご覧になってください。

GREETINGS -Dressed up traditional Japanese dolls- It was the Edo period in Japan that the ICHIMATU doll initially appeared.The first model of the doll was a popular Kabuki actor called Ichimatu Sanogawa.The doll become very popular was played by changing its clothes.Then the doll became common all over the countory.But unfortunatery it is said that only a few collectors and antique dealers own the dolls,which in general are difficult to find. I decided to establish the ICHIMATU DOLL MUSEUM showing all of you truly adorable real ICHIMATU dolls, It would be my great pleasure and honor for you to see and admaire these beautiful dolls with their many wonderful cosutumes.
